This limited warranty is provided to the original end user purchaser (“you”) of an Adventurous BD or Hard Candy 4×4 accessory (“Product”), by:-

The warranty applies to claims notified by you within 2 years of the date you purchase the product, “Warranty Period”. However, despite this, the warranty ceases when the Product is rented, sold or otherwise disposed of by you.
Adventurous BD warrants that, during the Warranty Period, the Product will, with normal use, be free from faulty parts, manufacture or workmanship.
Subject to these terms and you complying with the claims procedure, the product will be repaired with free parts and labour where there is a fault with the product which is a consequence of a manufacturers defect in materials or workmanship. All replaced parts or products become the property of Adventurous BD.
This clause relates to goods supplied in Australia only:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
You have rights and benefits under the consumer laws in your jurisdiction. Without detracting from these rights or benefits, Adventurous BD excludes all liability in respect of the Product for any other loss which is not reasonably foreseeable from a failure of this Product, which may include liability for negligence, loss of expenditure associated with the Product and loss of enjoyment.
This warranty is valid only for Products that are purchased new and unused:
(a) in Australia or New Zealand; and
(b) sourced from Adventurous BD or its distribution channel.
Adventurous BD distribution channel refers to its network of authorised distributors, dealer and retailers. Adventurous BD and Hard Candy 4×4 branded products that have been sourced by end-users, distributors or retailers from any source other than through Adventurous BD (including ‘grey’, ‘parallel’ or ‘direct’ imports) are not Adventurous BD products.
You must provide the original proof of purchase which demonstrates compliance with the above conditions to receive any services under this warranty.
The warranty does not apply where damage is caused by other factors, including without limitation:
(a) normal wear and tear;
(b) abuse, mishandling, accident or failure to follow operating instructions;
(c) exposure to liquid (excluding water in the case of waterproof products) or infiltration of foreign particles;
(d) servicing or modification of the Product other than by Adventurous BD, or their authorised service agents; or
(e) shipment or other transit.
This warranty does not cover:
(a) repair or replacement of any Product damaged during transit to or from Adventurous BD; or
(b) any loss or consequential damage incurred while the Product is being repaired.
Instructions for making a warranty claim are included below. If the warranty claim is not accepted:
(a) Adventurous BD will inform you;
(b) if requested to do so by you, Adventurous BD will repair the Product provided you pay the standard charges for such repair; and
(c) if applicable you will be responsible for all costs associated with collection of the Product from Adventurous BD.
If the warranty claim is accepted Adventurous BD will, subject to the applicable consumer laws in your jurisdiction,
(a) repair or replace any faulty parts or rectify any faulty workmanship; and
(b) return the Product to you.
HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM UNDER THIS WARRANTY
To make a claim under this warranty you will need to:
(a) Contact Adventurous BD to register your claim and provide sufficient details to enable a Adventurous BD representative to assess the claim.
(b) Submit proof of purchase (e.g. invoice or purchase receipt) with your claim.
You will be responsible for transporting the warranted products for service (including packaging, transportation and insurance costs) to and from Adventurous BD.
You will need to include your proof of purchase with the warranted product. Damage caused during transportation by failing to package the product correctly will not be covered by this warranty.
REPAIRS
Products presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished products of the same type, rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the products. Replacement of the product or a part does not extend or restart the Warranty Period.
REIMBURSEMENTS
Adventurous BD, or its authorised repairers, may seek reimbursement from you of any reasonable costs incurred by them if the Product is found to be in good working order, the problem is not a consequence of a defect or manufacturing fault or where any of the warranty exclusions and limitations apply. Reasonable costs may include travel costs and parts and labour costs, the costs of packaging, insurance and transportation for return-to-base service and parts and labour.
